Full-stack IoT data platform with AI-powered analytics

The Challenge
Industrial operations generate massive volumes of sensor data, but without a unified platform, raw signals remain siloed and underutilized. The challenge was to build a production-grade system that ingests field data from edge devices in real time, processes it through a scalable pipeline, and surfaces actionable AI-driven insights — all from a single dashboard.
The Solution
Built an end-to-end IoT data platform: Raspberry Pi edge nodes collect field signals via MQTT, Node-RED orchestrates the data flow into InfluxDB for time-series storage, and Grafana powers real-time dashboards. On top of this pipeline, a custom Python REST API integrates an AI layer that generates natural-language insights, anomaly detection and trend forecasting from raw sensor streams. The entire stack is containerized with Docker, deployed on a Linux VPS with CI/CD via GitHub Actions, and the production frontend is served on Vercel using Next.js with TypeScript.
Results
A production-deployed IIoT data platform actively used for Movewer Technologies UGV field operations — delivering real-time monitoring, AI-powered analytics and automated alerting from a single unified interface.
